A hunter of aromas and a seeker of smells, Laurent Severac has spent the past decades sniffing out botanical scents of Vietnam and Laos, dedicating himself to the discovery of rare plants and spices from which he creates distinctive fragrances and sought after olfactory signatures.
Fascinated by botanical essences and natural essential oils, Laurent cultivates his own biodynamic plantation and distills unique perfumes with his own craft distillery. His exclusive fragrances are for the prestigious and professional, and the bespoke scents he produces are found in major hotels and luxury spas throughout the world.
His exceptional nose and refined palate made him the perfect choice for finding a recipe for Brewstillery’s Mashed Up Gin, as did his love for Furbrew Craft Beer. After experimenting with ingredients such as lemongrass, ginger and wild pepper, the final recipe is a simple blending of junipers from Europe with kumquat from the north of Vietnam.
